Marapoints (MP) is the main currency of the site. It is required for almost everything on the site, including most shops, trades and auctions. MP is mainly earned via playing games, chatting on the forums, completing quests/missions/goals, randomly exploring the site, etc.

Origin: MP was first introduced in Maraqua as early as December 2003.

Baspinar Points

Baspinar Points (BP) are the official currency of Baspinar's Castle. They are mainly earned via winning battles and as a consolation prize from Tombola.

More information: These are also known as battle points.

Restock Points (RP) are the official currency of Eleka's Castle. They are mainly earned from buying from most shops or won from Leprechaun quests, the Eleka Tombola, Poera Prey, and Eleka Prison. The amount of RP you get will depend on how rare the item you buy is. (Level 25 or higher players earn double RP with each purchase.) RP

Dukka Coins are the main currency of Dukka Town, Dukka Caves, and the Pirate Ship. Dukka Coins may be obtained from Dukka Dash, Archeology, Wheel of Fortune, Word Pirate, Account Upgrades Shop, and periodically from pirates in Random Events.

Fake Dukka Coins

There also exists a fake version of Dukka Coins that is the main currency of Vortex Park. They are mainly won from Dukka Dash and used for the Beast in the Woods mission, Pipe Dream, Bootleg Scratchcards, and Fake Pirate Ship.

Origin: Both Dukka Coins and Fake Dukka Coins are based on the ducats and doubloons that were buried by pirates, as well as forged currency pirated by people in real life.

More information: These coins count as toys, but cannot be deleted since they are still currency. The Dukka Coin and Fake Dukka Coin Exchanges can be used without limitations.

Avatars: The Shineh avatar is rewarded once the user uses the Dukka Coin Exchange, and the Fake avatar from useing the Fake Dukka Coin Exchange to withdraw a Fake Dukka Coin with a denomination of 5,000 or higher.

Giftbox: Use this item and you can automatically pay for Dukka Coins and Fake Dukka Coins directly from your balance. When buying with Dukka Coins (not Fake Dukka Coins), without this giftbox, shops only accept the exact coin for the item purchased.

Account Upgrade Credit is Marapets' premium currency. It is accepted at Account Upgrade Sets, along with the Compass, Giftbox, and Account Upgrades Shops). The most common method of obtaining AU Credit is to buy it with real money via credit/debit card or bank transfer using PayPal, but it can also be earned from Goals, Temples, Pyramids, the Referral SystemMonthly Checklist, Advent Calendar (on Christmas), Bingo games, random events, certain Olympic Competitions, or from other players at the Currency Exchange.

Memory Points

Memorypts

Memory Points are the main currency for the Memory Shop in Ziranek, and is earned via deleting items.

Denominations

  • 1 Memory Point per every deleted item
  • 10 Memory Points per every deleted Memory Card
  • Level 50 or higher players earn double Memory Points.

More information: As previously mentioned, Dukka/Fake Dukka Coins cannot be deleted since they are still currency.

Olympic Points

Olympic Points are the main currency of the Olympics. They can be spent at the Olympics Shop and Boosters Shop, and earned via winning Olympics Competitions and as a consolation prize at the Lush Tombola.

Quest Shop Points

Quest Shop Points are an optional currency that can be earned exclusively through completing the required quests.

The following quests that have shops are currently Desert Spy (the spyglass) and Slater Stalker (the heart).

Referral Points

Referral Points are the official currency of the Referral System, and, as such, are accepted at the Referral Shop.

Recycle Points

Recyclepts

Recycle Points are the official currency of the Recycling Centre. They are obtained via recycle any Trash item.

Level 70 or higher players earn 2 Recycle Points per item.

Score Points

Scorepts (1)

Score Points are an optional currency that is obtained via playing Games. They are accepted at the Games and Video Games Shop.

Exceptions:

  • Bingo rewards one Score Point per game, regardless of how many tickets are purchased.
  • Scratchcards reward the player each time they buy a Scratchcard.
  • Keno rewards the player if they match 8 or more numbers.
  • The Lottery rewards the player for every ticket purchased.
  • The Stock Market rewards the player for each time they buy new Shares.
  • Raffle rewards the player for every ticket purchased.
  • Rummy rewards the player for each win.
  • Plushie Machines rewards the player each time they pick up a Plushie or Enchanted Plushie.

Event Points are a redeemable currency from restocking, questing, playing minigames, and battling. Afterward, Maradans can spend these points at the Event Shop, which only sells items during Summer Challenges or a war. To even things out, the user's points go along with them should they forget to spend them when it all ends.
