The Love, Fat, Cotton Candy, Gingerbread, Valentine, Ice Cream, Candy, Chocolate, Cupid, and Pampered Costumes are from the December 2005/2017, May 2006/November 2016 (soon after the release of Fat Chibs and revamp of Fat Jessup), April 2008 (along with the Punk Costume)/March 2021, December 2008/2017, February 2009/2016/2020, February 2013 (along with the Nightmare Costume), March 2015/October 2023 Account Upgrades, as a random prize in the Candy Tree's quest, the Obese Fairy (at 500 Gourmet Food, and was also updated in February 2021), and the Beast in the Woods (after replacing the old and unpopular Skinny Costume from the Costumes Shop).

In the UK, cotton candy is known as candy floss, while in Australia, it is known as fairy floss.
The lovestruck Slater Stalker was responsible for making the Love Costume wearable by all pets.
