Description: The Gobble is a restricted turkey-like pet that has an irrational phobia of the holiday season. Due to this (along with Maradan greed), there is a Gobble shortage every year. In the past, the Urples, a family of ugly, unpalatable Gobbles would be fought rather than Talon, a Speiro, who was too afraid to be cooked himself. However, a heatwave made the entire Urple family go extinct, and Beelzebub ate the replacement Gobble Plucky after the heatwave cleared, leaving Tweetly to the job.
List of Account Upgrades: This pet was released as part of the November 2010 Pilgrim, May 2012 Underwater, November 2016 Doll, November 2020 Origami, and September 2022 Steampunk AU Sets. Occasionally (close to Thanksgiving), a random assortment of Gobble Makers would be put on sale in the AU Shop until mid-December.

Revamps: The Gobble was first designed as a cartoon turkey. However, on 27th November 2012, the pet was made more appealing: its patch of skin was covered, its feathers became more refined, and its wattle looked smaller. The Gobble later received a major face-lift on 13th August 2014, making it a peculiar bird dragon to fit in with other Marapets. The pet received its final revamp on 1st April 2017, making a few tweaks: it has more feathers, its legs have been straightened out, and only one of its two teeth have been omitted, though this last change is very small.

Official Description: These pets can be found running around the fields of Puchalla Village and have an irrational fear of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Trivia

• Its name comes from the sound turkeys make, along with the act of eating something hastily (gobbling).
• The Urples were also named for gobbling, but as a knockoff of such - along with burp, the sound typically made after someone gobbles.
