Learnables are collectable objects in the MaraPets game that you can show, read, or teach to your pet, which will help your pet accomplish some tasks on the site. There are also several Missions[1] that will ask for items from your collections or reward you with an item you are missing.

Books
Description: Every time you read a certain item to your pet it will add to their Book Collection. There are 3 different types of book item and each one has its own reward. Books are very helpful as they add value to your pet and they aid in the completion of Tarquin's Library[2]. There are monthly pet-themed Magazines that the Moonlight Fairy rewards you for, monthly world-themed Newspapers that the Homeless Fairy rewards you for, and there are standard Books that the Desert Fairy rewards you for. Description: When your pet watches a Digital Video Disc (DVD) it is added to their DVD Collection. You can buy items for this collection from the DVDs Shop, from an Account Upgrade Set or as a prize from many other places. DVDs are very helpful as they aid in the completion of Trotter's Movies[4]. The Space Fairy rewards you for the DVDs in your pet's collection. You can also View all DVDs.
